I'm not entirely sure why I have decided to start writing a blog..I suppose it's mainly because I dont have time to keep a diary, so this will basically be a collection of gibberish. If someone thinks it's pointless drivel so be it! It makes me feel better and it might, somehow make someone else feel better!
I watched the Olympic Torch pass through a local town yesterday and although I feel a sense of pride having witnessed this rare occasion (at least for this country) I have to admit I was not all that impressed... It was over in the blink of an eye! The day itself was brilliant though, spent with someone who I love dearly and is one of the most important people in my life. She has been there for a lot of years...not always in direct contact and we spent a fair bit of time not talking at all but she's back now, we're back. I am cherishing every moment we spend together. We laugh at the most ridiculous of things!
